MyVikingFuneral was created to provide a forum for assembling all the information my loved ones will need to survive without me (after, of course, they grant my last wish of performing a viking funeral ritual for me after my death!). This site grew out of the fact that I often joked that in addition to having a certain dignity about my death (no feeding tubes, no extraordinary measures to keep me alive if I lacked cognitive functions, etc.) I remarked that all I really wanted was a simple viking funeral in the style of what was depicted in the final scene of The Vikings or First Knight.Just so we are on the same page, the following should be noted:
1. I do not conduct or have legal authority to set up a Viking funeral;
2. I cannot help you dispose of your loved ones remains in any other manner.
This site was set up for what will eventually be an almanac for useful information that our loved ones "forgot" to share with us, and that may be very necessary (like how do I change the clock on the thermostat). I am very sorry if you got another impression by searching for this site.
