MyVikingFuneral was created to provide a forum for assembling all the information my loved ones will need to survive without me (after, of course, they grant my last wish of performing a viking funeral ritual for me after my death!). This site grew out of the fact that I often joked that in addition to having a certain dignity about my death (no feeding tubes, no extraordinary measures to keep me alive if I lacked cognitive functions, etc.) I remarked that all I really wanted was a simple viking funeral in the style of what was depicted in the final scene of
The Vikings or
First Knight.
